Born Dorset, England.

1993 to present day.
Moved to Ireland.
Founded Dog and String Theatre with Chris Wallis.
Early shows evolved out of experimental street theatre. Trying ideas out in this way was a great education in performing to an audience. Many of the shows we did were very surreal and spontaneous and out of this anarchic beginning a story emerged which we still perform today, "Raymondo's Journey".

Since then the company has continuously performed shows, mainly for children, at festivals and theatres all over Ireland and toured shows in Scotland Spain and Greece. We combine storytelling, live music, rod puppets, shadow puppets, life size puppets and masks to create plays which engage children in a lively interaction with the imagination.

My role as the art director is to co-ordinate the visual style of the characters and the sets. Visual syntax is a major concern in the performance style that the company uses.

2002
Working as a part time lecturer, teaching textiles at the Galway and Mayo Institute of Technology and art teacher to adult learners in Lisdoonvarna. Continuing work with Dog and String Theatre and as a full time mother. Developing performance work in Jazz singing.

1992
Inspired by the book Ridley Walker by Russell Hoban, a new direction was beginning. Searching for a way of bringing together my love of music, creating environments with textiles, lighting and shadows. Puppetry seemed the ideal medium to bring ideas to life. Started experimental work with performance, life size puppets, shadow puppetry and live music.

1991
Graduated in textiles, Central St. Martins College of Art and Design,London.
College work based on and inspired by music became close to set design.
Worked as a freelance designer to the fashion industry selling work to companies in Japan, Italy, France, USA and other countries through my agent.
